Fibre King
Returnable Plastic Crate Erector
The Fibre King Returnable Plastic Crate (RPC) erector gives RPC users a low cost and compact machine that produces top quality erected crates for the ONE TOUCH solution from farm to shelf.
The erector is capable of running various crate designs in random heights at up to 20 crates per minute. The standard RPC erector is available with various options on the infeed and outfeed of the machine for manual or automatic handling of folded and erected crates.
The Fibre King RPC erector is manufactured in stainless steel to the highest quality standards. It features a robust, compact design and uses off the shelf quality proprietary items.
Starting with the simple compact design originating from our in-house design team to the use of off the shelf propriety items for easy and low cost maintenance of the machines, the machines are capable of erecting randomly sized crates up to 20 cpm.
The erectors have successfully been sold to major farm users and the Coles Group for integration into the systems used in their wash plants and we are currently exploring opportunities in the European and United States of America markets.
The company of R.L. Windsor & Son Pty Ltd commenced operation in 1926 in a small engineering shop concentrating on suppling knives and blacksmithing needs to industry. From the 1950’s Windsor’s manufactured saw milling and ply milling machinery and later case sealing equipment. After changing sites a number of times as they expanded they moved in 2001 to the present purpose built site at Clontarf. In 2003 the company changed its name to Fibre King Pty Ltd to reflect the use of the brand name and the name commonly referred to by many in industry. Today Fibre King is known as a supplier of “dry end” packaging, suppling to industry users in both the local and international markets. The product range includes packers, palletisers, pallet handling equipment, trayformers and sealers along with the RPC’s and the associated handling equipment.
• 2007 – winner of APMA Customer Participation Award – for our work with the Coles Group with the roll out of the new RPC.
• 2007 – finalist in the QLD Government Smart awards for our design of the RPC erector.
