Blink Mobility Platform
BlinkMobile Interactive has simplified the process of deploying both customer-facing mobile services and corporate software applications to field workers with the Blink Mobility Platform.
Rather than requiring an organisation to create customised mobile applications, the Blink Mobility Platform translates data and processes from existing corporate applications into a service that can be accessed by any Internet-capable device Changes to the service are immediately reflected on the user’s device, rather than waiting for an updated version of the application to be deployed.
Services can be based around just the task or interaction that the worker performs, and even personalised down to the needs of individual users. Many services resemble regular mobile apps and can incorporate many system level functions such as camera and GPS locations. Content can also be made available to any mobile device across a range of technologies, even down to SMS messages. Organisations no longer have to create new applications for each type of device their workers use or insist on a particular device, and applications can be built in a matter of weeks rather than months.
The Blink Mobility Platform can significantly streamline infield work processes through the elimination of paperwork, reducing the time need for data entry and reducing mistakes and freeing workers up to perform more tasks. Importantly the platform can deliver field workers a ‘data suitcase’ of work, allowing them to work in ‘black spots’ without an Internet connection, or use Wi-Fi only devices.
The Blink Mobility Platform is provided using a platform as a service model, managed by BlinkMobile Interactive. It is currently used by many local governments in Australia, as well as universities and numerous corporate clients.
