CeOS (Controlled entry Operating System) is an Access Control and Alarm Processing Security product
The CeOS System provides a new operating philosophy in the areas of flexibility, ease of system operation and implementation for the processing of task requirements, with a means of programming the entire system from a computer or a number of computers via a LAN, WAN or Internet.
CeOS is based on two component categories:-
CeOS software component which is the User Interface to the databases for Cardholders, Users, Doors, Arming Stations, Sectors, Access Levels, Access Rights, and Time Schedules. The reports generated provide data for historical activity and database listings. System Maps associate hardware field devices on to an active map and an alert operates when any security is breached. CeOS hardware devices are required for the software application tool to be utilised.

The UPC (Universal Process Controller) is an intelligent device that processes valid access entries, monitors alarm input devices and drives output devices in a security pre-defined set of events in applications where it would be an automated requirement. The CRI (Card Reader Interface) allows access control recognition reader devices to be Multi-Dropped on a single pair of communication cables over a long distance; it has the intelligence to scan over a variety of bit rates to recognize the unique reader to authorize entry.
And the SIO (Serial Input-Output) device has the intelligence to gather monitored security input points together with the capability to distribute various control output points which receive instructions from the UPC to process and control.
This improved technology is innovative as it expands on existing systems in the industry by providing scalability, enabling the CeOS system to cater for small and large projects alike.
A core design principle of CeOS software was to take advantage of personnel who have had exposure to the Microsoft Outlook application software, an environment that provides a ready made Security operator. This eliminates the need for re-training on another foreign application, as pre-acquired operators of the CeOS Software are fast tracked in leaning the Security System Programming Applications and Principles.
