StartupHouse
About StartupHouse
StartupHouse is a new co-working studio where, from February 2012, entrepreneurs can join the large and diverse community of Startups in Silicon Valley.
StartupHouse offers a 36,000 sq ft facility which has premium office space, a co-working space, a cafe and a hostel.
StartupHouse is strategically located at 880 Harrison St in the Soma district of San Francisco, which is now considered the new centre of Silicon Valley.
NSW Trade & Investment, via the Australian Technology Showcase (ATS) program, will support selected NSW startups to utilise the facilities at StartupHouse.
A subsidy of up to 50 per cent of the costs, up to AUD$1250, to utilise the facilities at StartupHouse is available to eligible NSW startups.
If a startup wishes to access the program, they must first receive funding approval through a competitive application process prior to incurring any expenses.
The Process
To apply for the subsidy, please complete the online application form.
An ATS team Commercialisation Manager will review the funding applications. If you are selected for funding you will receive a written offer.
Once a startup has been awarded funding approval under the program, they can then utilise and pay for use of the StartupHouse facility, then claim a rebate from the program.
The rebate of up to 50 per cent of expenses incurred (capped at AUD$1250) will be processed following the provision of a report on the activity and provision of proof of your payment to StartupHouse.
Eligibility
Generally the program is available for NSW based startups with high growth potential.
If you are unsure about you eligibility or would like to discuss the program please call or email
